Our story begins as many do with a princess being kidnapped by a villain and his henchman. In this case, it's Princess Sam kidnapped by the greedy Richard "Big Bad" Cardshark and his shifty sidekick, Skreekurr, in an attempt to draw a crowd to their casino.

When the Hero isn't up to the task, our leading lady must turn the tables against her captors in a role-reversal of the roguelike formula.

What's more, progressing from the top floor down to the bottom, the Princess must start from the end and make her way to the beginning! Instead of gaining abilities throughout the run, she starts at her most powerful but is forced to slowly choose which abilities to sacrifice as her options dwindle down.
